5 Reasons to Fear Apple

Thanks to Cracked.com writer Robert Evans for illustrating what I've felt in my gut but have never been able to confirm for a long time.

Apple is eeeeevil.

You hear that, you anti-corporate, free speech screaming fanboys? Just read the fucking article.

Hate is not a strong enough word

I am not a hater.

And when I say that, you may look at my other blog, The Shuriken of Truth, where I discuss various philosophical implications including why not to be a hater.

But hate is an action, and it is an action that only does harm when directed at people. It's perfectly okay to hate objects, sports teams, or hangnails. For that reason, and since despite dubious Supreme Court Decisions corporations are still not people...

I hate Apple.

I hate Apple, Inc. I hate the image, I hate the commercials, I hate their products. I hate everything they stand for. And while I don't hate their Fanboys (though I pity them, and they may annoy the crap out of me for perpetuating the evil that is Apple) this blog is about all of the reasons why I hate them, and why you should to.

And when I say I hate Apple, it is not just the sort of hate you get when someone cuts you off on the road, or when your roommate sleeps with your ex-girlfriend. This is a deep, deep loathing, from the pit of my soul. As if everything that I am and everything I've been put on Earth to do is the antithesis of Apple. As if, were Steve Jobs and I to meet in the same room, the resulting explosion would destroy Earth as well as two gangster planets and a cowboy world. It is the kind of hate that whiny, Prius-driving, Obama-worshipping Apple users reserve for George W. Bush.

I hate them THAT much.
